If they're low O2 you have to get it up someway. I was taught to give the higher O2 but watch LOC and reduce O2 if LOC diminishes...this in case of low PaO2, high PaCO2.
State approval of a school's nursing program by the BON is NOT accreditation. If you want to continue to an advanced degree make sure the program is accredited by the NLN or the other nursing accreditation board (can't think of the name).
they have accreditation through career schools and schools of technology...they are not accredited with either national nursing accreditation agencies. paul
