I hate blood and sores too. I'm not really sure what to say about that. As far as seeing old men naked,I used to feel strange about the nude people,but I didn't want to see naked women. I have worked in group homes awhile now and am very used to it. Once you do anything for awhile it won't be had anymore.

Sorry,I'm in LPN school...wasn't sure what nursing is considered.

Nursing is a good job,nice blue collar work, and that is the only reason I am sure that people would want to do it.

That is good to get started on it and if you can ever take more classes maybe it will go faster.

Here in Minnesota you have to take the CNA class first to get in the LPN program. There are 3 clinicals...one long term facility,one clinic and one of your choice. There is no way your CNA liscense is in jeapordy. Good luck on your studies.

I am going for LPN first because I need a better job soon. How insecure do you have to be to put down someone for trying to better themselves? I've had people tell me that I can't work in a hospital...oh well,get off your butt and do something before putting me down.

Minnesota they have LPN sign on bonuses...I have seen them $1000 and as small as $500.

I honestly am going to nursing school for a secure job and good money. It's not a dream I have had. If I had 4 years to go to college I would be a teacher...if I could go longer I would go into pharmacy. I'm not saying I don't like the classes,but it's not my first choice.

There are tons of LPN jobs in the Twin Cities area. Mostly in clinics and nursing homes...a coupld of hospitals,but not all of them.

I live in Minnesota and go to the technical college...they do it is semesters. So the first is Aug-Dec...and the second is Jan-May. You can also take summer courses but I take that time off.

I don't think it really that hard,but you have to have an interest in some of this stuff or it would be boring.

Well,there are dogs that sense seizures and also my dogs can tell if you are feeling sad...they will only come sit on you if you are feeling bad.

Congrats. I start LPN on the 27th. So where you are did you have to take the Nursing Assistant class as well?

I wouldn't say anything...and he shouldn't of told you that. Kind of unprofessional if you ask me.

Hi. I am from Brooklyn Park,MN and goint to LPN school. I may go back for RN later. I know a few nurses and it is a great career for our area of the country.
