  1. I havent taken EC workshop, took Lynn's last month. I found it extremely helpful, she answered all sorts of questions, does get a little carried away about her personal life. But she puts things in a way to help you study and prepare for the CPNE the easiest most practical way. She has a mini lab so you can practice all stations. There were some there who had taken both and said EC was not a teaching workshop, if you want someone to observe you and critique what you are doing than that is where you should go, they don't teach. Lynn's is more a teaching workshop, she goes through everything to help you study and prepare to pass your CPNE on first try.
  2. Congratulations, that makes me feel better... I am testing at Grady in two weeks. Can you tell me a little about your overall experience??
  3. I finally got a test date for October 10 at Grady Memorial, and I am looking for all help I can get. Has anyone taken their CPNE at this site and willing to share some information about their experience? Any tips, suggestions etc would be so appreciated!!
  4. Thanks Ivan, good stuff, I am scheduled in October and am looking for all help I can get!
  5. Thanks for responding , I am registered for Lynn's workshop beginning of September, have heard good things about it. I don't know why I feel so stressed I have been a nurse for 15 years, but have worked postpartum and nursery for the last 10 which is a bit different then med/surg!! I have just read so many people that have failed, it scares me!!!
  6. I am new to this forum, just received my test date for Oct. 10 at Grady, and true panic has now set in, I have been procrastinating as I was told in May that I would get 3mo notice when I received my date, I have 10 weeks and don't even know where to begin. I have been reading through study guide. Would love to hear about your experience especially since you tested where I am. If ANYONE has any advice , please HELP!!
  7. First of all congrats!!! I just received my test date for Grady Memorial on Sept 19, I am thinking of declining for a later date as I have just started to prepare and don't know if 60days is long enough. I have been majorly procastinating and now panic has set is since I was notified. I am taking Lynn's workshop in Charlotte on Sept 4. Do you have any advice to calm me and how do I learn this grid I keep hearing about?
  8. I just got my test date for September in Atlanta, wow, did the panic set in! I was told that it would probably be in Oct or Nov so I wasn't prepared to get it so soon. I have been somewhat procastinating in studying since the kids have been home this summer. If I really hit the books can I be ready in 60days?? I am scheduled for Lynn's workshop first weekend in September. Has anyone taken it and is it really helpful? Also has anyone tested in Atlanta at Grady Memorial?? I am so nervous and would appreciate any helpful feedback.:wink2:
