Hi! There aren't any moutains in Northern Virginia... If perhaps you went down I-66 farther towards west va there's more mountains out there. as far as hospitals, there are wonderful hospitals in northern va incl. INOVA & Prince William. If you're really serious about moving down here, i would consider taking a road trip because northern va is a pretty fast paced area and its not for everyone. GOOD LUCK!!

I'm getting ready to apply for fall 2009 as well. i already have a bachelors of science in another field, so i only have to take anatomy&physiology/microbiology parts 1 & 2 which i'm doing in the fall and spring and the TEAS test.

dumb question here~ is the TEAS test the same test as the NET? the cc i'm looking to get into has the TEAS as the only admissions test.

I'm planning on working during ns but who knows if it gets too demanding i might cut back. My husb and I are currently working at eliminating our debt and i'm starting my last few prereqs in january.

I think i want to work in the Peds. ER, ER, NICU, PICU or Peds. Oncology;) . Those are my favorites so far.

i plan on doing the same thing tony, going to school during the day and working the overnite shift @ my job (from 11-7)... Its not going to be easy BUT i can't afford to just quit working.

Sorry i don't have any specifics on them BUUUUUT I'm considering CUA as well. Have you looked into any other schools?? or community colleges??

Thanks for asking this question:idea: , I still have 6 or 7 prerequisites to go before i start applying for programs and three of them are accelerated. It gave me a lot of motivation.
