  1. remind me to keep my distance from you!!
  2. WOW! that is just NUTS:uhoh3: - 13 months may be a bit TOO accelerated.... i dont blame you in the least for doubting, that is just so much information crammed into your head at once - i cant imagine keeping it all in there! GL to you, you can do this!!!
  3. see that is so TRUE!! LIFE is what makes the whole thing so much harder. it will certainly take discipline to do the most important thing at the time... my baby is gonna go into shock a bit i think! - thank goodness her gma will be watching her, it will take some of the sting out.
  4. i agree with this poster! i too had to figure out that i am SO NOT an audible learner! what i found worked for me was every night i would re-write my notes from that day in my own words... it made me think about what i was writing and made it easier for me to study them as they were written the way i thought... i re-wrote tables, made my own diagrams - anything to make it MY WORK - MY IDEAS.... i passed with an A ... GL to you!! this is a very helpful thread!
  5. thank you all so much for your replies, i appreciate the info and the heads up!!!
  6. nice to know that they are good to work for! i hope you are able to move back to the valley! GL!
  7. ty for the reply. it won't let me pm right now for some reason so i will try a bit later. as for why i am interested in the accelerated program... i have a 4 year degree in psychology and 2.5 years of chiropractic school. i also have a 16 month old! LOL. i already have a ton of the science courses completed as well as the psychology requirements, so i was excited to see a program where i could put my hard work to use.
  8. i currently have a psychology degree and was 2.5 years thru a chiropractic degree when i had a baby.... chiro school is out now, but i hate for all that education (ugh all that studying - all the dissection, all the memorizing UGH!!) to go down the drain and would really like a career as a nurse. has anyone done the accelerated route? i would love to hear what you thought of it and if you have any opinion or advice! tia :balloons:
  9. i live in Bethlehem PA and am considering the desales university accelerated BSN program. anyone go to desales? or have any info on st. lukes or lehigh valley hospital? i really appreciate any info you have and look forward to getting to know some LHV nurses/students!! TIA
  10. well i am not in nursing school yet, but i took micro - so UGH - totally freaked out about germs... i also find my self evaluating peoples ankles and fingers for edema, and asking a ton of questions when people tell me random symptoms they are having! i just LOVE dx....
