Hi, I did my training in the uk project 2000 qualified in 2002(adult branch). was desparate to move to USA. I could not meet the requirement but agency gave me a name of university i could use to make up the hours which i completed and have now written my nclex and passed it. If you look at there is a forum which is called making up hours i posted the name of the university. I did my registration process with New Mexico. Just waiting to move now.

hope this help just a quick question when did ou write the exam and how many days did they say you can resit. is it 45 or 90 days. thank you

Hie Could someone who has recentl taken the test clarify if it's true that most questions on nlex will be diabetes,lupus, and infection control. will be taking test July 26. Need all you prayers have done what i can and i know God will not let me down.

Hie Good goes to heaven bad goes to Hell is how you should remember this. Meaning good leg up first if ou going up and bad leg goes first when ou going down so your ans is 2. Hope this helps

Hie If you work with nice dr you could ask them to teach you. I work in ITU AND I ASKED THE DR TO TEACH ME SO EVERY TIME I ASSESS MY PTS I AM JUST DOING IT FOR PRACTICE.

Hie Time goes quick once you get the process started cause you have to run around getting your documentation and you will not even notice it. From what i know the Green card is the easy and best way to do it converting sounds too complicated from what i have gathered. Good Luck

I asked at the hospital that i work and i took two weeks annual leave and work for free in the maternity wing in labour,pre natal clinic,post and hoe visits. I just explained to the head of nursing that i was intrestedin see that side of nursing and was willing to spend some time just observing which is what the making up of hours involve. After I completed the ward Manager wrote to the uni specify that i had done two weeks observing and the areas covered. that was it. No bank for two weeks no playing up back to being a student it was good experience i should admit.

Hie everyone Finally got approval from board I had to make up hours and i used a distance learning university to make up the hours and the board just sent me a letter last week approving my eligibility to sit the nclex exam if anyone is intrested PM me not sure if we are allowed to put uni am happy to put the contact details. It did not take that long to be honest if you really want to move anything is possible.

Hie I don't think Getoff is a nursing student.If she is maybe she is not understanding the books so if you could be kind enough to explain it in simple terms lets not forget that not everyone who comes on this board is a OB nurse. When I made the enquiry i was told it does not matter so not sure if things have changed cause to thiink of it money is involved i don't think the uni would only wait for referals from O'grandy
