Gosh I was thinking of moving down there but 21 an hour is horrible pay and it seems like that is all over Florida. I am in Nevada and got a job starting at 35 an hour as a new grad. 21.00 is scary. Does it get any higher at other hospitals? . I'll have to really think about the move now.

I'm really enjoying my 2nd semester at CSN. The teacher's are ok and my clinical is at Spring Valley and I'm happy about that. Going ok so far.

I will also being wearing the dreaded all white scrubs again this semester. Not only is it plain ugly, but it makes you stand out like a sore thumb, and look like a big marshmallow. We all hate it but what can we do. This will be my last semester in white and I'm so happy!

Did you attend the lectures or just read the book? Also were there many papers to write during the second semester?

You should do fine. I'm not sure about the micro at UNLV, I took mine at CSN and it was not bad. I took A&P 2 at Nevada State and that was an easy A.

Good luck to all of you waiting for the call. I'm in the part time program and it has been a rough 1st semester. I never received a call, I actually received a letter saying I wasn't accepted and then I got a call a month later saying I was. So just hope you don't receive a letter. Good Luck again.

I'm in the part time program and the first week was okay, just a lot of diifferent things due. It's hard to keep track of everything I have to get done. I'm nervous about the med test and just about everything else. I hope it does get easier...

My friend and I both got in on the lottery for this Fall. She got in the full time program and I got in the part time. After we got rejection letters we were thrilled to be chosen from a lottery. Both of us finished all our pre-reqs with a good GPA and it was our first try. So I think it isn't that difficult if you really put in a lot of effort.

I think there is a bug going around. I did get all my vaccines and have been really sick since I got them 10 days ago.

I also just got accepted into the Fall 07 program and was wondering what I should start studying to get a head start. Congratulations to you!!

Mos them I know hire medical assistants or LPNs. So ther would be a huge pay difference.
