thank you so much, How much is the cost for the RN class at Academy ?

Is there anyone that is currently attending or have graduated from this school that give me some information ? Thank you in advance. There is a class starting in Nov that i'm considering.

I've use studygroup101 so far for 3 exams (1,3, and 4) and I've passed all three exams only using their material.

I'm so excited I passed my first exam. I've been so busy at work the last two week and did not get to study as much as I wanted to, so on Thursday I was going to reschedule the exam but could not remember my Pearson login information. I took that as a sign that I've put this off far to long and needed to just do it.

I Currently Live In South Florida and was planning to move to GA after I finished EC to join family that I have there. I thought GA was not an option anymore, but now I feel hopeful. :)

How are the clinical done at Kaplan ?

How long is Kaplan's program and how often do you go to clinicals ? I'm considering Kaplan and need some more information. Thank you.

Also you can sit for your nclex in another state and transfer your license to florida, check that out as well.

You would need to be a LPN, Paramedic, Respiratory therapist, Physician assistant. You can earn your LPN to ADN and your ADN to BSN from excelsior, checkout their website http://www.excelsior.edu.

you will need 31 credits of general education, so if you have some credits already that would make it easier for you. Also you can take clep exams or excelsior exams for your pre reqs. I've seen lisa's notes for sale on ebay, am thinking about getting them. thanks.

The cost for excelsior is not that bad compared to cost of a 2 years degree program (it's worth it). And for the clinical portion of the programs there are several hospital that you can go to including GA. Boyle80 how often do you take a test and what study material are you using?

The cost depends on if you have pre reqs already, however you can do your pre reqs at your community college or just take clep exams for college credit. There is a $75 fee when you send in your transcript for evaluation, then if you enroll there is an enrollment fee of $895 which you can make up to 6 equal payment. There are now 8 exam which cost about $220 each and the clinical cost $1825. I have some pre reqs from the community college, but I still need some humanties and micro. I bought some college network study guides on ebay.

I agree with Tourislpn. I hear people say that Florida and Georgia pay the same and that is not true, Florida Pays way more, well at least south florida.

I had high hopes of escaping the high cost of living here in South Florida and moving to GA, but now I'm discouraged about finding a job. I see that Grady hospital is hiring for several LPN positions, check there website Brown eyed girl.
