  1. Im a NEVADA NP. Starting pay would be around 80K + annual! This is for non hospital setting. Dont know the rate in hospital.
  2. Mine took 9 months because of two back and forth RFEs (request for evidence). This through AOS processing.
  3. Rose_pgi. Do not worry so much about the job market. My company is constantly looking for doctors and NPs. Pretty sure the job vacancy is still in place when u finish ur schooling.
  4. I applied my CVS October 2008. Around JUly 2009, CGFNS told me that my school has not send my transcript yet to them and they said they will just forward my file to NY BON. Then i called my school again to forward my transcript. Around sept 2009, I emailed NY BON regarding my status. NY BON said they have all received my transcript, license endorsement and etc and they will mail me with details regarding my application. Now its JAn 2010, I did not received anything from NY BON. I even gave them my new address here. Nothing. At this point, I dont really care coz I have my illinois and nevada license. To sum it all up. CVS of CGFNS = very inefficient and unhelpful NY BON = slow to update too. easiest to apply from my experience is with NEVADA (my initial state of licensure). however, you have to go thru CES. But you can expedite the process by getting in touch with your registrar in forwarding your transcript.

  12. anybody here who got issued a VISA Screen even without a local phil license? This question is for my cousin who is here in USA who has an actual US RN license, SSN and an F1 status but did not take the local exam after graduation because she moved here right away. Is local license a requirement in VSC?

  14. Hi suzanne, just want to clarify, im a little confused with your answer. I already finished my CES and already passed my NCLEX under NEVADA. I also started the CVS application a couple of months ago. After that I fill up form1 and take the child abuse class, My only question is, How would I ask Nevada to forward my NCLEX result to NEW YORK. Is there any form that I need to send to NEVADA? and how much is the fee?
  15. how about forwarding my NCLEX result from NEVADA to NEW York? Same situation, I dont have an SSN. I just want my NCLEX result to be forward to new york. Do I fill out form3 alone? or do i have to fill out form1 and form3? does anybody here know how much does it cost to forward my result?
