crazyen, you have to email them 3 mos before your application expires and request for extension.

NY will also not issue a license if you don't have a valid visa. We have the same case, I applied first to CA BON and applied later to NY.

I know I need the course, I just dont need it now. Even if it will only take an hour, Im still in the philippines. My priority date is 2006. It will take me years before I can go there then I might need to take another course just to refresh what I learned. It would be just a waste of money for me at this time. YUp, sorry for the term "endorse", I will be asking CA BON to forward my NCLEX result to NY BON. Thanks =)

I am already done with CVS two years ago. I already passed my application for NY but then I passed the wrong application. My application in CA expired this month, I was only given another year to give them my SSN, so i need to apply to get a license, and the logical choice would be NY.

I just need to endorse to NY fast. I would like to take the exam when I get there. And I wouldn't be working with children for a while. How do I apply for this? Thanks

I took some MAN courses in PWU-OU. I still need to go to school to take the exams, but i guess you can discuss this with your prof. They will send you your materials.

80, 81, 71, 76, 80 = 77.6% not good enough but I passed anyway, on the first take. Took it june 2005.

Im also infected with HepB. I just found out when I got pregnant. I dont know where I got this because Im so sure I didnt have it at nursing school and when I started to work. I got tested when I was pregnant My OB had to request for the test twice just to be sure and it was still positive but the titer was a thousand lower than the first. What does it mean?

Maybe some people are not aware about this but it has been implemented for years already. Those who went to school by DOST scholarship cannot go out of the country. They have to stay in the country the same number of years they stayed in school using the scholarship.

I applied for licensure by endorsement to NY from CA. Im done with the CVS, a report was already issued. NY BON sent me an application for licensure, I already sent it back to them with the payment. A request was already sent to CA for my NCLEX result also with the payment. It was months ago already. I havent recieved any news from them. I contacted NY BON twice already but still no response. Has anybody experienced something like this?

I applied in a government hospital too, I dont have someone to "back me up", I was a fresh graduate and I dont have any work history, but I got in. Almost all of my batchmates in that hospital were all fresh graduates. The hospital is under DOH.

I emailed CGFNS about my incomplete report and they sent me this auto-answer message: "Thank you for your inquiry. Please be advised that your file is currently undergoing a final review and upon completion of this review if all of your requirements have met our approval your report will be issued" Undergoing a final review??? What was the letter i received saying that they already sent the incomplete report to NY BON for?? :angryfire I never had problems with CGFNS before, my cgfns certification and visa screen went without a hitch.

It will take them almost a year. I applied last June. I received a notice of completed application new york verification, Sept 9. My school received the request for my papers by oct, but it was for the other school (which they waived). So my school sent them back the request and I emailed CGFNS that they had sent the wrong request. I received a notification of received documents for my transcript at 11-27-2006. And recently (4-19-07) I received a ground mail that they already sent my incomplete report to NY BON. I dont even know why it was incomplete.

Yeah, it took them that long. I received a letter that they already sent my INCOMPLETE report to NY BON. I dont understand why it was incomplete. I received a notification of received documents of both my local license and my TOR from my school. They waived two requirements, my midwife license and my other school's paper. I dont know what else is needed. I dont understand, if they want my other schools paper why did they waived it and why didnt they sent a request for it.:angryfire

Do I get a copy of my CVS report? I read at my cgfns account correspondence that they mailed the report to new york. Does this mean that I need to send my application to NY now? I havent applied yet.:uhoh21:

I was asked to make an IR for not carrying out a not signed doctors order. The order was made at 12:30pm(am shift, 6am-2pm) and I was on duty at 2-10(pm shift). Theres a reason why the morning shift did not carry out the order, it was not signed. SO why would they ask me to do one?? Why not the am shift too? Well I cheked the chart the other day, lo and behold! it was signed. Good thing I told my supervisor about it, and the rest of the nursing staff as well. We all know it was not signed before. The doctor said she endorsed it to a nurse that she will come back and sign the order, why not sign it the moment she made that order? She did not come back, i waited til the end of my shift.Other doctors said, they do carry out an order even if it is not signed because they know the doctors handwriting, so they know who made it.
