  1. Congrats To you Dood!
  2. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? 75 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? Kaplan NCLEX RN Exam Book. Could not afford any review course. 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? One ATI test at the end of the course. 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? 2 weeks (Ouch) 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? Pretty confident I passed only becuase of the score and my sence of calm during the test. 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? Yes and last!
  3. Awsome news! Congrats to You R.N.
  4. Prioritization, delegation, infection control are biggies, Kaplan is good for that.
  5. When I took my test I made it a point to have my family pick me up and spend the day celebrating that the test was over!! It helped my forget the questions and therefore aviod √ing for correct answers. When I do that I tend to intensify my stress.
  6. I think you nailed it!! Sounds like how my experiance went. except it took 2 weeks for my results in California ..
  7. I knew you would do it! Congrats!!
  8. Keep up the positivity , It worked for me!
  9. Congratulations to you!!!
  10. hica your are insane.....:chair:
  11. I took it 7/6 and shut off at 75 questions. Still no results, called the Ca. BRN last Friday and was told my transcript had not been processed yet and that "it was probably here but you might want to re-send it". So I had my school re-send it friday. I am beyond frustrated. There is a hospital waiting to hear about my results so I can be hired but I am stuck in limbo land....all my best to those playing the waiting game.
  12. Congrats Jersey girl!!
  13. For the California BRN they told me 2 to 4 weeks from the day they receive it although my friends have gotten verification sooner. I resent my transcripts yesterday because that is what is holding up my results according to the BRN. She said they are probably here but you might want to resend them...... so I did. Its been a week and a half of waiting...
  14. Thanks for the advise, I called the BRN and the said My transcript had not been processed yet, she also stated I may want to re-send it so thats what Ill do I guess.
  15. What eneded up being the hold up and how did you find out. Im in a similar situation, Congrats!
  16. My friend took hers on 7/5 and shut off at 110, She passed. try not to worry about the number.
  17. You got it LouisianaNurse2006. I will do so tonight.
  18. Thanks Septic. You made me feel a lil better!
  19. Is there any rhyme or reason to how results show up on the BRN site? I have a friend who took the exam a day before me and one that took it the day after. We all took it at different testing centers. Both of them are listed as Permenant Licensee's but mine is not.....Doesn't put me at ease. Anyone have a similar experiance?? I took it the 6th and it shut off at 75 questions.
  20. Hey Stressgal I took it the 6th and it shut off at 75 as well. Still waiting.....all my best to you guys.
  21. Well I'm still waiting to find out if I passed or not. One friend who took it before me found out she passed and one who took it after me found out he passed. Hard not to worry but still trying to stay positive!
  22. Hey Jersey girl, Start figuring out how to relax and calm your nerves. I have a history of failing test due to nerves. You don't want to fail this due to something like that. If you can't learn to relax you won't think straight and the NCLEX requires a sound thought process because there will be questions you don't know and need all your mental facilties to figure out. You won't know it all but know enough to pass! All my best to you with everything.
  23. Hello Marisela01, Good for you. I can somewhat relate to you situation. Going back to school at age 36 was my effort to better the lives of my family and I. In the 1st week of going back to school My wife and I recieved to two children we would eventually adopt a newborn straight from the hospital and his 3 yr old sister. It was a crazy schedule but the Lord brought us through it and contiued to bless the path he set me on. We also homeschool my daughter , taking alternate days to teach, which was difficult but for us worth it. You can do it with the help of God. He has set you on this course for a reason and he will help you complete it. CAL723 No I did not, by the way I am a GED recipient. That stuff was handled in the application process for the NCLEX.
  24. I will definetley keep you in my thoughts. Thanks for the encouragement! I either did really good or really bad to have the test end at 75.
