o happy day...i PASSED Nclex!! ... i took it monday in Cali and found out today. Wow waiting was so hard but kept faith that i did well. Thanks for your responses to my posts. For those who are still taking it just keep taking questions in Kaplan Qs and go in there test day an be confident. When you finish the test your mind will play games with you and allow you to think you did not do well...but trust you did all you can do. One thing i did not know was that you are given a eraser board. so when i got it i put all the lab values and ph balances and also kept writing some notes from certain questions just in case i would see that case again... you know like with paper test where you noticed question 3 is like question 15 and gives you some hints... well I cant beleive i passed thanks again. And yes the ABCS and Maslow really helps..so when you look at each questions keep thinkg abc maslow and "right here right now" action.... :rotfl:

Hi. I just got an offer to be in OR and I just graduated from an ADN School. I am so confused now what to do. I also got offered a job at ICU and Peds. Can someone give me some advie. Pros and Cons at OR. I am very social and just wondering if my personality would hinder regarding patient interaction. Some say accept it because it is such an opportunity and the other floors are easier to get into. Can I also ask isn't hard to get a full time OR job unlike an ICU or Peds floor. Can you make extra money since the rate is not night rate (is that where the on call shifts come into). Please advise this new grad student. Thanks.
