"but being a one man band here, i don't think i'd ever qualify" Why would you say that? It is a team application. Teams can be district wide, region wide, state wide. It requires a minimum of two nurses and one community partner. Community partners have been from the school administration, public health, non profits, foundations, YMCAs, community organizations, lead school nurses, state government, ........ The National Association of School Nurses did a poll a few years ago and only 25% of school nurses wear scrubs.

Given these inquiries, Dale King, the Director of the U S Department of Education Family Policy Compliance Office (FPCO) sent out this reminder of the guidance issued by FPCO in October 2009 in response to privacy and public safety concerns at that time regarding the H1N1 flu outbreak.
