didnt know there was a waiting list at NCC..i am there right now..i will be applying in the fall semester..but i am missing 2 classes...ahs132 and micro..but will apply with my 28 credits..but what i heard is that you just got to keep applying..there is no waiting list

right now i am in NCC..VERY hard to get in..but dont get discourage..i think 3.5 is very good..how many C's do you have mind me asking?

welcome...instead of the LPN..why not just go straight into the RN? take all the pre reqs...and while doing the pre reqs...do a CNA cert..to get your foot into the door..?

yea ..i went to register for summer classes at NCC..taking two Humanties courses..(music,com101) and taking back phyc child dev..(got a C+) SO I APPLIED FOR THIS class for summer session 2.....now i went to register for ahs132...FULL!!! even Micro is FULL!!..for sept and jan...this is ridiculous...in july i got to beg the professor if i can get it...but i will still apply for the Nursing PROG in october...-tony

you can get your PCT at any near by trade school that offers the CNA...but rumors have it you have to do your CNA first then upgrade to a PCT..i hope this is the right info i am giving you..lol

oh..i did the postal,court officer,enviromental police,sanitation enforcement....to be honest i want a good paying job...but my dreams was always to become a RN..just the process of becomming a RN makes me frustrated...makes you want to do something else..

hey tracy i am in the same boat..i got rejected myself..right now i am rethinking what i should do...but if you love nursing i would do a CNA course which cost 500-600$...and then use that to get a job dealing with nursing..get your foot into the door..while working..just keep applying..and maybe the placew where you work will pay for your RN...and they will work with your schedule..thats what i will end up doing...but i know whar your feeling...i am so confused of what path i should take in my life..i even started to take a lot of city exams also..cross my finger that i get accepted also in that..but i feel like i am just waisting time ,while there might be a job out there for me that pays well also and less stressful goodluck -tony

yea while i am doing my CNA..i will apply to the nursing prog in my school..its been so hard to get in...there is a shortage of nurses and yet make it so hard to get into the program

yea your right...right now i am looking for a CNA school..so i can get use to these fluids from a human being...i really like to care for a person and make them feel better about themselves..and if fluids will hold me back..i wont make it..i will get a cna job and get experience..thanks for the advice.

i want to become a nurse so bad..the only thing that was holding me back was the cleaning the poop,pee..etc..stomaching the job was my big problems..i spoken to some male nurses and they explained to me that you tend to get use to it..
