  1. I have not. Has anyone heard back from the critical care fellowship at North Shore?
  2. What fellowship is this for?
  3. Any updates? Anyone get an offer yet?
  4. I have an interview next week, but does anyone know if you can receive an offer or be told you received the job for a fellowship before passing the NCLEX?
  5. Very exciting! When is your interview for? I am hoping to get a call for a different ICU, but I haven't received a call yet for the next interview after the video.
  6. Thank you! Is there a time limit for each response, do we get cut off if we speak too long?
  7. Thank you so much, and best of luck as you continue the video! Let me know how it goes! It sounds like you film each question one by one? I'm assuming once you record the answer to one you cannot go back.
  8. I am wondering about the style of questioning too.
  9. Congrats! That's an amazing fellowship they have there! Do you happen to already work within the system at North Shore or have prior experience in nursing? Or are you a new grad too?
  10. Which hospital did you get this offer from if you don't mind me asking?
  11. Thank you! I’m applying to fellowships because I’m looking forward to having the didactic and on-unit training for several months. I definitely want to feel comfortable before being fully independent. It sounds like North Shore and other Northwell fellowships are a great place to receive such training in these specialties.
  12. Hi, I’m going to be a new grad nurse in Spring 2023 and I am looking to apply to the ED and Critical Care fellowships at North Shore. How long are the fellowships? Also, does the system have the ability to cut a fellowship short for a nurse? I keep hearing about orientation being cut short and it makes me nervous, but I’m not sure if this is possible for fellowship nurses.
  13. Hello! I was recently accepted to the ABSN program and am now looking to get my titers and a physical, but am finding that a lot of doctors are booked through June...we need these lab results posted by July 15th. Anyone know of a doctor or office nearby (I live right by Molloy not too far from RVC) that would be able to help me obtain the titers, PPD test, physical clearance, etc. from? I do not have a PCP at the moment. Thank you in advance!
  14. Hello everyone! Does anyone know the difference between NTR198 and NTR195 at NCC? One is for the healthcare professional and one is across the life cycle. Is one easier than the other? I’m trying to balance several classes and trying to figure out which one would be more realistic to manage with a heavy Summer course load. Both would be accepted by the programs I applied to so I am weighing my options. Thank you!

  16. Thank you for the information, I just checked and still no update yet. I finished submitting my application materials in early January. Hoping to receive this email soon! Congrats again ?
  17. Congratulations! I have not heard back yet. Do you mind sharing when you applied? Also how did you hear back, did they send you an email or was it on the application portal. Congrats again, this is very exciting news!
  18. I have been beginning to refresh my email pretty often now anxiously waiting for an email (even though it is still early Feb) LOL. Anyone else? Does anyone know when students in earlier cohorts have heard back in previous years?
  19. Thank you so much for clarifying! I think I may reschedule it regardless just to play it safe. Best of luck to you!
  20. Oh did Molloy not mandate that you retake it with those scores? Maybe I should hold off on rescheduling until I speak to them.
  21. Okay that is somewhat relieving. I see I can register for next Saturday which is the only date that will work in a while for me due to work. Did they say if you should still submit both test scores to Molloy? I would hate to see the 100 in Math go to waste assuming I don’t score a 100 on that section again. Also, just to confirm, Molloy stated they don’t bother looking at Science and English (Writing) correct? That’s what I heard from a former applicant. I also heard the cut-off for Reading was a 76 from this individual, so I am reluctant to take their word for Molloy only considering Math and Reading since they were wrong about the cut-off scores, as Molloy told you to retake the TEAS with a 78.7!
  22. Thanks for your reply. Okay I guess I should plan to retake it, as frustrating as it is. Did they say anything about having to wait a certain period of time before retaking it for it to count? I know some programs are specific with how often you can take it and the span of time that must exist between two tests.
  23. Hi! I’m applying for Fall 2021 and believe I may be under the same conditions you were. I scored a 78.7 on Reading with a 100 on math. When you say you scored low on English I assume you mean reading since they only look at reading and math? I saw somewhere that they require a 78 in math with an 80 on reading and then somewhere else that they require a 76 in reading with an 80 in math so I am not sure where the minimum cut off is. If you don’t mind sharing, were you accepted with a reading score below these with the additional requirement of taking the English class? I am worried that I will have to retake it due to getting 1 additional question wrong on the reading section which put me below an 80% for reading.
