  1. NYC salaries will be in the $50 range for a BSN with experience, but of course cost of living is much higher too.
  2. Congrats to everyone who got in!
  3. Doesn't matter in the long run
  4. Like others have said, you can use your NP degree to get critical care experience, don't need to go back to using your RN license per se.
  5. I know Columbia's faculty have a big background in PICU, and other schools definitely do accept it.
  6. Hi everyone, I saw there wasn't a thread for accepted students at Albany Med so I wanted to start one! Comment here and we can start a facebook/GroupMe/etc. group
  7. Can't help but feel that generic email was sent out with poor timing. "Can't wait for you to be a student!" But not an actual acceptance. Regardless, congrats to all those who made it!
  8. It sounds like just a standard email they sent to prospective students
  9. Had anyone gotten an email saying they can't wait to have us join as a student - but have no update on their application status?
  10. Have those people that got put on the waitlist heard anything?
  11. Anyone else just as devastated with no call? Haha Columbia was my #1 choice and can't help but take the hit real hard ?
  12. Did anyone get a call to be a part of the DNP program or get wait-listed?
  13. Congratulations!! That's so exciting. Wow looks like you got the call later in the day? I wonder if she just started calls today When was your interview session?
  14. Interviewed last Friday - no emails or calls yet. Trying my best to keep myself sane!
