  1. Anybody here gonna be in the OR at BUMC?
  2. Did anybody happen to get info on which BSN programs are included in the thing where Baylor pays 100% tuition?
  3. Not that I know of, but if your urine is too dilute, they will make you come back a couple days later. I know somebody that had to do that.
  4. No bit you can login to the background check thing and see your completed report/status. The onboarding manager told me that the only thing left to do is for them to verify graduation, and for me to inform them when I schedule NCLEX. After those tasks are completed, we'll get an email with information on first day orientation, etc.
  5. Yes same thing for me but I haven't tried to contact recruiter bc they said I will receive email with link for first day of orientation and more info as the start date gets closer. I don't think there are any other tasks until then.
  6. I'm scheduled for the 15th for OR. Please let me know how it goes for you. Good luck!
  7. There were 5 people in mine. Everyone was very nice and personable.
  8. I hope you get an interview! Questions were a few expected interview questions, and then a few specific behavioral questions. Not too bad. The program is 12 months that consists of 6 months of education/acclimation to OR, and the 2nd 6 months is working with a preceptor and becoming more independent. Sounds like a great program.
  9. Thank you! It's at BUMC. Interview was good. About 5 or 6 behavioral questions then told me about the program. Gave me time to ask questions at the end.
  10. Had my interview with OR this morning and got an offer a couple hours later. Good luck, everyone! I hope you all get offers too!
  11. Oh OK, same for me. I also picked the 9th.
  12. Good luck to you too! When is your interview?
  13. Hello! I know this thread is from last year's Summer cohort, but I have an interview for the OR residency and wanted to get some info on how the interview process went, and how the OR residency is going for you now that you've almost completed the 12 months? Any and all info is appreciated!
  14. Got an interview for the OR today, yay!
  15. They sent me an offer last week. I think some depts are still sending offers too.
  16. I got an offer today as well, congrats!
  17. I applied to several positions the past couple days and got an email for an interview at Dallas for GI lab. Anybody heard from any ICU positions?
  18. I received my interview email earlier today, confirming my scheduled interview on 3/3. Anybody else interviewing for OR?
  19. Thanks for the info! Honestly, I don't think I'd sign a 2 year contract, I don't want to sign one at all tbh. Congrats on your ICU position and good luck!
  20. That's disappointing. Congrats on your offer though! What position did you get and how was the interview process for you, if you don't mind me asking?
  21. Great, thank you so much! I'm not crazy about a facility mandating contracts, so that's one for the "pros" column for me LOL.
  22. I just applied to Medical City Heart and Spine nurse residency. Does anyone know if they require contracts. If so, do you know the duration of those?
  23. Congrats! Which specialty? Is it an in-person or virtual interview?
  24. Ohhhh OK, thanks! Mine isn't until March 3rd. Good luck, I hope you get it!
