Yes that is the big issue finding Preceptors. Would you guys recommend paying for preceptors from the Preceptor web site, if it is the last choice?

It seems Psych is the up and coming Cert. due to the new standards!

Good Luck to you guys too! It does seem more difficult to find preceptors in Psych. I work in Outpatient behavioral health so I’m hoping to have some connections. Also can you use FNP preceptors when doing a Psych rotation If they are experienced in Psych areas?

How is the program? Is it doable? This will be my first Rodeo. I have my MSN in another concentration. So many people ask me why I didn’t go straight for the NP. I guess I feel like I wanted my Masters first.

Yes CONGRATS! That is truly a wonderful and challenging accomplishment. It sounds a lot like Nursing Practice, & Organizational components...which I know is all very challenging. Yes I’m wondering when will the restrictions will be lifted for Preceptorship.

Hey I received my acceptance letter today for the Post Masters Psych NP Program. It took a while because of the COVID-19 epidemic but I have my letter now. Has anyone started a facebook thread yet for the fall 2020 class? If it has been started, let me know. NPinthefuture ?

Hi Wilkes received the last transcript on today it was retrieved. Waiting for a decision...maybe by the end of next week I will know. The tuition is 728 dollars per credit plus fees of proctoring and etc. Has anybody received information on how good the program is?? Ttyl NPinthefuture

Hi All, I am waiting up to the minute now. Wilkes has not retrieved my last Transcript, as of yet. It may be there, I sent the transcript two and 1/2 weeks ago. I am having this issue because of the COVID-19 Epidemic. It is slowing everything down. I have not had the opportunity to ask them how strict they are with admissions. It's difficult to speak to anybody since COVID-19. Maybe I will be hearing something at the end of this week or next. NPinthefuture

OK. I’m thinking I will get accepted, just waiting for my acceptance letter. I’m staying positive. As soon as I hear something I am ready to start in the thread.
