@hdavis2200 Just wondering why you chose UC Davis! Were there other schools you were deciding between? Do you like the program so far?

I got invited to attend the early opportunity day for WesternU entry MSN program, but ended up not going because I heard back from UC Davis the same day that I got accepted. Waiting for USF, UCLA, and UC Irvine. Which do you all think are the best programs?

Has anyone been accepted to other programs yet? And which programs did you apply to/are your top ones?

I was going to attend EAO day this week, but also got accepted into UC Davis, so I withdrew my EAO position. Hope it opened up to someone else!

Dang, I know other programs (like USF) get white coats. And only 2 guests? Wish you could invite more than that!

Does the MEPN program have a white coat ceremony at the start of the program? Or just the pinning ceremony at program completion?

Looking at the current students from the past two years who were accepted posted on Davis’ website, I counted 45 students for each year that are in the program

I read online that for EAO day, there’s a 30 minute writing exercise so the College of Graduate Nursing can have a sample of your writing skills. Has anyone heard about this or know what the prompts usually are?

My transcripts still haven’t been uploaded, so I called admissions and they said it’s taking a little longer than expected to upload everyone’s transcripts. We will for sure hear back by end of January though

Did you guys upload your transcripts again to the second application? Or did you just put your NursingCAS ID number and are waiting for the accounts to link? The directions in the email said it can take up to 4 weeks to link. Is it okay that my transcripts aren’t on my app yet?
