    being retired many years this paom brought back memories
  2. after a cousin died of polio and seeing patients with shingles and other assorted diseases which could have been prevented with an injection I and my children had all of their shots and no ill effects
  3. the skilled facility I worked at had an area for the staff who smoked to go to sometimes a patient would join them it was far enough from the building as not to get smoke in
  4. so this CNA is receiving the same pay as the other CNAs on unit yet she doesn't do the same work..what a bunch of bullAt least they should rotate the CNAs so they all have a chance to do ralyy nothing and get paid for it I wonder how this CNA feels ...
  5. one question is the sitter a CNA or just a person hired to sit with the patient while she smokes

  8. all the sitter we have used in the skilled facility was there for the perpose of keeping the patient safe from falls getting out of bed and trying to leave facility I know some family paid for a sitter more like a companion
  9. maybe get the Dr to write no smoking order to see if will lower her blood pressure doesn't the hospital have a policy regarding sitters
