Travel Nursing after Discipline
Hi all, I was disciplined by the board but I have completed disciplinary action and have had an unencumbered license with no restrictions for almost a year. I am still working as a staff nurse and have been wondering about travel nursing but I’m not sure if I will be asked about my disciplinary history. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I have been a nurse for 8 years with ICU and PACU experience.

Agency nursing after discipline
Hi all, I was disciplined by the board but I have completed disciplinary action and have had an unencumbered license with no restrictions for almost a year. I am still working as a staff nurse and have been wanting to switch to agency nursing but I’m not sure if I will be asked about my disciplinary history. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Pursuing NP after completing probation
I've posted a very similar question in a different thread because I'm wondering the same thing. I was recently let go from my job and have had no luck in finding another, with 1.5 yrs of monitoring left. I want to go to NP school as well after I'm done my board order, but I don't know if it's even worth the time and effort if there's a slim chance of me getting accepted, let alone finding a job afterwards. I don't know if it'd be in my best interest in leaving this profession and pursuing a different career.

RN with public Reprimand Inspiration
I really needed to read this. This gives me hope that it is possible to be successful after disciplinary action. I want to go to NP school after I've completed my board order, but I'm scared no school will accept me. I've received a public reprimand with stipulations. I was terminated from my job and I'm in the process of finding another with no luck. I can only imagine getting into an NP program, let alone finding an NP position afterwards would be difficult for me as well. So I wonder if grad schools would be more likely to accept me if I chose a program that wasn't clinical like MSN-MBA, nursing informatics, or research? I just get so discouraged when I have to explain the ding on my license on every single application now. I've even considered leaving this profession, making a career change and work my way towards becoming a PA instead. I want to pursue higher education. I just want to know what my options are in the future and the likelihood of success.

RN with stipulations looking for work in DFW
Hi everyone, I'm currently in the same boat: stipulations requiring indirect RN supervision with quarterly evaluations for 2 years, no employment in home health, hospice, or agency. I've read in another forum that dialysis companies are stipulation friendly and so I've applied to a few positions. Has anyone tried med spas, dermatology clinics, or other small private practices? Also, has anyone applied for graduate school, gotten accepted, and obtained their MSN/DNP/Ph.D after their board orders were completed and licenses unencumbered?
