Congratulation!! I just graduated nursing school and plan to take mine in a month! I'm so nervous! Right now I'm doing UWorld but it's making me feel like I don't know anything!

I had a 92 I think, the math portion really helped me score high. I read the whole passage. Don't try to rush on the reading. Read it through then when you get to the question you have an idea as to where to look for the answer.

When I took the TEAs, I had just finished my AP II course and found that it was extremely helpful. I suggest looking at some crash courses (possibly on youtube) of AP I and II. That along with practice tests would definitely help with the science portion of the exam. I read a lot of books so I never studied for the reading portion of the exam (it's kind of a you either know it or you don't concept). I do suggest though, during the exam, reading the question 'out loud' (loud enough so that you can hear it while not the exam site or other). It definitely helped me on understanding the written material and its' structure.

An email. If you were rewarded a scholarship it would have been mentioned in your acceptance email. And then MGH financial aid office would email you a couple days later with more information regarding your scholarship.

It would be mentioned in your acceptance email. Then a follow up email from their financial aid office would be sent in a couple days following the initial email with more information regarding the scholarship.

I emailed their admission office and they told me they do not accept science courses from Portage.

I did not apply to the UMB ABSN program because I missed the deadline due to not being able to take the TEAs exam until a week after. But I will be submitting application tomorrow as well after I finish with me diversity statement. Good luck to everyone!

I'm in a similar position! My scores aren't as great as many others on here. I have a 3.2 GPA, 88 on the TEAS, but a 3.9 prereq GPA. I have a year experience as a pharmacy technician and over a year as a CNA at a hospital in Boston and was nominated/won a couple of hospital-wide awards as a CNA. I missed the December 1st due to not being able to take the TEAs until a week after the deadline so I've applied to MGH instead but I would still be willing to apply to UMB! Still debating whether I want to go to MGH (if accepted) or wait and apply to UMB (don't know how good my chances are of being accepted)...
