@Roadtobsn That's great! Congratulations on your score! what was the minimum requirement for your school? I bet your score is more than enough to get you through! I'm check the videos but I'm afraid it'll take too long; I only have 3 days until my scheduled test day. Also, how much did you score on math?

Taking the TEAS for the third time

@Roadtobsn I just purchased the McGraw Hill book with 5 practice tests because I've read the reviews and people say its almost exactly like the actual test so I'm starting on that. But thank your for the information, I'll check Mandi Parker's videos for sure!

Taking the TEAS for the third time

@Roadtobsn Hey, I hope you get the score that you require to get in. Did you take the test on a paper rather than on a computer? Because the results are out as soon as you finish the test if you take it online (on a computer). Thank you for sharing the information though! My school requires 70% minimum score and the first time I took it, I got around a 67% only because I didn't go through Reading and English section at all while I was preparing for my TEAS and the next time I just focused on the reading and English and that messed up my score. what type of questions were you asked on your exam in the science section? I feel if you get a really good score on Science, your overall automatically turns out to be good.

Taking the TEAS for the third time

@DP_Nurse I went through a lot of videos from Khan Academy but I just feel I was overwhelmed with information. I finished my AP II course in May and I first took the TEAS in July. I scored decent on the science section but on my second attempt, science and reading brought my score down. Do you read the whole passage or just the question? Also, what was your score?

Taking the TEAS for the third time

Hi everyone! I just made an account on allnurses.com because I think it is a great platform for nursing students to share information. I took the TEAS exam twice and didn't make it through and I registered for my third time, I'm taking it on 9/30. I'm very nervous because it is a make it or break it time for me and I don't want to drop a year to get into nursing school. I'm trying my best to make it through this time and I have the official ATI manual and the Mometrix Secrets book which I used for both my attempts. After going through the articles published on this website, I ordered the McGraw-Hill book with 5 Practice test and I'm going to test myself on it. If anyone has any tips on how to make it through the reading and science section please share the tips and tricks. I'm very nervous and I don't know what it going to happen I've also been feeling very demotivated lately. I took the practice tests on the ATI website and I'm going to retake those today. Please help!
