Hi everyone I have a question regarding these news although still we are not sure what is gonna happen.If the bill was signed by Bush,do all employers have to pay for nursing training fee even though you have already been working for a while in your hospital and waitinig for GC??Or only do the employers who start to petition you after Bush singnes this bills have to pay monery for this?

One of my I-131 was also taken when I traveled. I am assuming that this is only first time. Next time they will just give me a stamp. Anyway,whenever you want,you will travel with 131. Have a nice trip!

Hi kingmig I am in the same boat but we should wait a little bit longer since our file was filed by Nebraska.Mine was filed in October. We should be fine because processing time is still far from August.

But yesterday when I called Ca board of nursing ,they said that as long as my RN licence number has not been issued yet,I am not eligible to apply for temporary license. Therefore,if someone moves from another state to CA,this seems to be fine because their license number has been already issued by another state. I realize that I just have to wait.........................

Hi Nursedandy Did you receive CA license or plastic card 3 weeks later after you submitted SSN??? I hear that first of all, we will receive a plastic card ,which is also license, and then we will receive big one.

Hi Mhwa Actually when I called them last week,they said that it takes 10days to get actual license. But at the same time,you should check your name on the web. Please try this.Online will be faster than mail.

Hi I guess your hospital must be hiring other foreign nurses. As long as they are OK,I can not find the reason with I-140 that your case is denied.I have heard that people were denied because of visa screen.But I have never heard of this case.I hope you will be fine.

I am still waiting:uhoh3: Today my lawyer showed me some news letter from NSV. They said that they are delaying for issuing the receipt for schedule A now.They did not show the reason though. Seiko5,you will be fine because normally we can get EAD 2 months later after you apply.Some people luckly can get EAD quickly though.I hope that you will get soon,too.

hi mtreyes mine was filed 3rd/october.i am still waiting for a receipt. it is really frustrating but i have nothing i can do. i just should wait. according to my lawyer,backlogs at the service center might creat delays in receiving a receipt notice. i hope that i can get ead soon like you~!!!
