  1. I am a recent graduate with an associate from a CUNY school and passed my NCLEX. I need to start working as soon as possible but I am unsure where to start. Any advice on where I should look to start applying? I would like to start out in med surg in a hospital and have applied to NYCHHC locations, as I don't have as much clinical experience as I would like due to COVID, however, I am open to any type of setting/facility that will give me experience. Thanks in advance.
  2. I graduated in May 2022, but due to familial circumstances I have only recently taken my NCLEX and I just received my license number. I submitted over 40 applications to NYC Health and Hospitals (Kings County, South Brooklyn, Bellevue, etc.) How long does it typically take to hear back, and what are my chances of getting an interview considering I have associates?
  3. Congratulations!! I just got mine too!
  4. CONGRATS on making it so far, especially with everything going on.
  5. They said stretched a note to my application saying that they strongly advise against using the credit/no credit system for the prereqs as it could impact your acceptance. *attached a note. Sorry.
  6. Yeah, I took it last year in October and got a 85. but I don't remember exact the questions. Most of the math was algebra. I spent a lot of time the organ systems,(what parts were involved, their roles, responsibilities of each system), which really helped. For the reading section, there were some choices that were very similar, but I just the one that didn't include any outside info, focus only on what they give you in the text. I was mostly tripped up by the language part, which I spend the least time studying for, that part was similar to how it is on the SAT's. I bought a used Mometrix ATI TEAS secrets study guide, studied for 3 months and made sure I took the practice tests in the back of it. It was a lifesaver.
  7. Hey guys, So glad I found this board, I'm trying to get as much info as possible with everything that's going on. I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a difference between the TEAS transcript that we need to submit and the individual performance profile I received after taking the exam? Do I have to order it from the ATI website? Best wishes to everyone applying, you got this!
