  1. I haven't been here long, and what I see on this site is a unit style mentality complete with a clique. I never realized that there are so many nurses out there with the basic civics knowledge of 3rd graders until I read this thread. I'm out. Stay well everyone.
  2. DEMS run education. Have for years. Why are there still problems? Dems run inner cities....have for years....why are there still problems? These cities we see on fire right now are all blue cities. I thought you could never have this when the dems are in charge....it's supposed to be all love all the time.....utopian with no racism ever. That's what they tell us. Of course I know better and have for years.....someone might want to tell that ONE republican in NYC to pipe down and stop causing these riots.
  3. I agree, both parties are terrible....but there has been ONE party basically in charge of education in the inner cities for decades. So take vouchers out of mix for a minute.... why can't they fix the schools? They tell us they are the only ones who can, so why haven't they? They have had absolute power in these blue cities. It's a rhetorical question....they can't because their policies are 50 year failures, and as long as they keep people poor and uneducated, they get votes on the promise of change every 4 years.
  4. Seems like the schools should be perfect in these inner cities....after all, they've been ran by Democrats for 50 plus years and they tell us plainly how much they "care about" the poor and minorities in those communities. So, why are the schools still bad after 50 years? The teachers unions (more democrat voters and donors) also fight school choice relentlessly.
  5. Okay, you win. Let's just keep printing money out of thin air to the point where it's as valuable as monopoly money as we stay quarantined forever. These blue state governors are bastardizing what Fauci is saying and everyone knows it. ...people in Michigan can't go outside in their yards even if they live out in the country....yeah...that's some mitigation right there. Maybe a few more nanny state drones in NJ as well to spy on people who want to play catch in their own yards. THAT is what I'm talking about. How did Florida do so well? Heavily populated with seniors, yet has the lowest senior death rate.
  6. Sigh. What I'm trying to say is there are other scientists and professors in the field who have a different take than Fauci, and they aren't getting airtime...it's all Fauci all the time. Dr. John Ioannidis (who makes the most sense from a scientific standpoint in imho) at Stanford is an example. The MSM smeared this guy and treated him like a kook. His resume is more impressive than Fauci's. There's a good chance that we didn't have to shut down the entire country and most of the economy to mitigate this, and Dr. Ioannidis was attacked in the media for even suggesting it. I hope you are well. We are all weary and tired right now.
  7. I think we are as well. And yes, I've seen the "Swab test vaccine" LOL Okay, yes we do agree on much more than I thought. Hahaha @ "Cheeto in Chief."
  8. Happens to be mine as well, yet basic immunology and epidemiology has flown to the wayside because we have an "Orange Dude" POTUS. I'm also referring to those 2 "silenced" ER docs in Cali who are actually spot on about the herd and the ridiculousness of quarantining EVERYONE. I'm also referring to Dr. Ioannidis at Stanford (who has 3 times the resume as Fauci and hasn't been a 36 year beaurocrat) who also concurs.....yet we never hear from them.....because they get censored. The point I'm trying to make is science isn't science unless Fauci approves....and I reject that wholeheartedly. We are to follow the science, yet when the science blows up models, then we are to ignore the science. It's not me censoring anyone or anyone else's views. Like I said, we can agree to disagree. I respect your input. The longer this goes on, the better chance we have of becoming Venezuela.
  9. You seem to be the "sniper in charge" as well as the "credibility police" on this thread....so why don't you enlighten us all with your vast knowledge on the virulence of Covid-19. It IS a narrative, and I'm sorry, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
  10. No, they shouldn't. When free dissent is taken away, we will never get it back. Do we censor the lunatics who are all over social media with their anti-vaxxer insanity? "Misinformation" is defined as anything that doesn't fit the "We're all gonna die if we don't bankrupt the country" narrative.
  11. After what is coming to light with the General Flynn fiasco, The FBI is the last entity on the planet that I would trust right now with anything.
  12. Actually we're a Constitutional Republic....not a democracy....but I get your point and have to agree.
  13. I would say relax and congratulations! Pretty sure you passed. Welcome to the RN family!
