  1. Do you like the program and have good things to say about it? I mainly want to transfer because its a faster program and they choose all clinical placements unlike UTA where you have to find your own preceptors. I understand any NP Program can be hard, but how are the classes, support, tests, the clinical intensive? Do you have any recommendations? I'm transferring in patho and theory so I'll be taking pharm and EBP in the Spring. Sorry for all the questions I just want to make sure I have all the information before fully committing and transferring. I appreciate it!!
  2. HI everyone how is the program going so far? I start this January. I'm currently attending UTA FNP program but going to transfer this Spring and wanted some feedback. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I got accepted to the FNP program at Texas Women's University for Spring 2023. Is anyone else starting this Spring? I'm currently attending UTA FNP program but transferring to TWU. I'm super excited to starting hope to meet fellow peers!
  4. Hi! I just got accepted for the FNP program for Spring 2023. In currently going to UTA and was wondering if it’s worth transferring? How are classes and the work load? Is it manageable working full time? I’m trying to weigh out my pros and cons
  5. My degree plan was pretty straightforward! 2 classes per semester one at time. The first two classes I’m registered to take this fall is theory and patho. I’m taking theory the first 5 weeks first and then patho for 11 weeks. Did you happen to get in?
  6. You’re going to be in the FNP program correct ?
  7. Hi everyone! I'm looking into applying for the fall before the application deadline is due. I already got acceptance from UTA but want to have another option. To those who already started the program how do you like it? Is it manageable? Do you take one course at a time like UTA?
  8. Hi I'm thinking about applying for the FNP online program for the fall before the app deadline is due. How are you liking the program so far? Is it the same as UTA where you take one class at a time?
  9. I got an email and it said that it would only be $250 not free or covering up to the first credit hour
  10. I saw that we should get $250 off our first course
  11. How did you find out about this?
  12. No!! I haven’t heard about this but definitely want to know how I can!
  13. I got accepted into the program and start on 8/22 but not feel discouraged with the reviews I have seen. Anyone that is in the program would you recommend? I don’t mind having to teach myself and the online work since that is how I pretty much learn.
  14. I am also starting the FNP program on August 22! Originally I was going to start on 7/5 but pushed back the date. It would be great to start getting to know each other to possibly study in future classes!
  15. Hi everyone! I just applied to UTA online FNP program for the 7/4 start date. I have a 3.4 cumulative GPA and a 3.5 nursing GPA. I'm wondering if this is competitive enough for admission. Also, to those who are in the program, how are you liking it? Do you feel supported and have the resources to be successful?
  16. Hi everyone! I just graduated in December and have books, Cathy parks cards, and scrubs to sell. If you have a FB page I would greatly appreciate it if I could be added! Thanks
  17. So I received the on boarding email. From what I understand we can’t buy the own brand of scrubs that we want (figs) ?
  18. I haven’t received any emails except for my offer letter. Who was it from?
  19. I’m going to be in ICU and I’ll be getting a critical care unit differential as well
  20. My offer stated the $2 increase in July. I believe when you accept that offer you are accepting the 2 year contract as well. That’s what was stated in my offer letter.
  21. Congrats!! I was just wondering if I’m the only one that accepted and hasn’t filled out any paper work or anything since ? I was stressing out a little haha
  22. I accepted ICU at Medical Center two weeks ago! Has anyone heard from anyone yet about next steps?
  23. Log into Facebook | Facebook This is a Facebook group someone made for everyone who got accepted!
