CPSN advice
The medspa/ plastic surgery gig is a dream for some. There will always be a Med/Surg or even specialty unit that will take a nurse of ANY work experience And teach you nursing skills for the job. It’s jobs like the one you’re looking at that experienced nurses want.

Going from bedside to OP 9-5
Girl, take the infusion job. They say New Grad burnout gets better after the first six months, it doesn’t. Especially with covid now and constant hospital policy changes and technology in the workplace getting more overwhelming, its crazy. Dreading to go to work is NOT healthy.

Yeah that's true about the partnership. Just wish my school was in a partnership with a prominent entity...or else I wouldn't have gone there if I had known it would cost me a fortune AND I would still have a hard time finding a job in the area as a BSN. But I am totally happy with my offer and accepted it! It's a good start and I'm excited:)!!! THR is really a great place to be, I really like it here.

Applied to ER in Arlington and got rejected even though I work at the hospital as a tech -_- . I have heard THR entity-wide had preference for TCU and UTA students when they opened the THR GN positions in February...and I'm not a student at either of those schools. From the info I received they were interviewing those preferenced students and making offers back in February, BSNs or ADNs, didn't matter. I have received an offer from a med surgeon tele unit with THR the same day I interviewed. Honestly don't feel like I even had a chance in this highly competitive, political environment that is DFW nursing.
