Having a hard time finding a job. I have 1.5 years left of probation. My discipline is publicly posted for all employers to read which is horrific for employers to read. I've been sober now for 3yrs with monthly monitoring from IPHP with negative u/a for the past 3 yrs. I work a really healthy recovery program and continued counseling. I am told by my aftercare that I will eventually find a job but I'm starting to feel very hopeless. I continue to interview. I do not have any restrictions. Yet no employer is interested in me. Any encouraging words word be nice...

Thank you for your comment. So far I have been disclosing at the end of the interview. I'd rather they get to know me first before disclosing. 2 interviews completed with no luck. 1 was plasma and 1 was LTC. I was thinging on trying home health next...

My situation is kind of tricky. After being caught I then went into rehab followed by Aftercare and I PHP. During this time I found another job and slipped up again. I believe they noticed some suspicious activity from me so I quit now I'm in fear while being investigated by the first facility that I will be reported again. I don't know what to do... I haven't spoke with my lawyer yet but I plan on doing so soon I'm at the point where I'm thinking about surrendering my license. I'm really not a bad person just made some really bad choices.

I have hired a laywer to help protect my license and am not facing any criminal charges. But my laywer said because I did not self report I may be in some trouble with my license.
