WCU or Chamberlain?
Hello all! I am currently looking into nursing programs in the Houston/Dallas, Tx area or Los Angeles, CA area. West Coast University and Chamberlain University catch y attention the most because each of the schools have various start dates throughout the year. I want to hear from current students and to have a better understanding of the programs and their structure. Anyone have insight on these schools? The cost isn't an issue for me. I see this posted about these two schools but nothing about the quality of education nor the school environment.

Schools In Houston Area
Hello all! I'm currently searching BSN programs in the Houston Area. I would like some honest reviews on WGU and Chamberlain. I am an active duty student who wants to apply for a Navy nursing program and time for a full time study isn't on my side at the moment. I can only chip away at one science course per semester. I saw these two programs have fewer prerequisite courses and will allow for me to qualify for the program faster than other schools. Once selected I will be allotted the opportunity to become a full time nursing student and I desire to be successful. Please and thank you in advance to all who respond!

Recently Completed BSN Prelicensure Program
Thanks for sharing your experience! Could you share how the class format was? I saw that most of the work is online, how was that for you? Did you work while doing the program? Sorry to be all in your business i'm just looking for some insight.

WGU Pre-Licensure- Dallas Summer 2017
To the future RN's that are in this program....Could you explain the format to me please? I know most of it is done online but how are the classes? Are they self paced? Is there set times you have to be online for the curriculum? And congrats to all for starting on your new journey!

Are any of you LVNs?
I'm considering going into a LVN program but before doing so I want some insight/input from current LVNs to see if what i'm thinking is realistic. I'm torn in between being an LVN or Medical Assistant. (I know that the jobs are different) My goal is to complete one of these certificate programs and work while take my GE courses to get into a RN program. Do any of you find it hard to work and go to school fulltime? How is your job satisfaction?

West Coast University(all SOCAL locations) worth it?
My military benefits will cover the cost so i'm not too stuck on the cost, I'm concerned more about life after the program completion. I wish employment rates after graduation was also posted for these schools along with NCLEX pass rates.

Employment after completing BSN at private school in SOCAL
Hello All!!! I am new to the site and I'm hoping to get some guidance. I currently reside in San Diego, CA. After 8 years in the military I finally built the courage to pursue a career I would love in health care and Nursing is my career of choice. I have been looking into a lot of BSN programs in the area and one of the main reasons private schools stuck out to me is because of the completion time frames and program availability. Are there any graduates from American University of Health Sciences, National University or West Coast University(any of the SOCAL locations) who can offer their honest review of the program? I'm curious about class schedules as well. Were any of you able to work and complete the program? Also, in regards to employment, do any of you know if graduates of these BSN programs have difficulty finding employment? I am 30 starting a new career and I cant afford any dead ends especially being a single mother. Thanks in advance for all of your help!

I'm interested in knowing if this school is worth the price. I read a lot of mixed reviews and its hard to tell whether students are satisfied and do graduates land jobs. Any outlook would be greatly appreciated.
