Hey everyone! Congrats on all who got job offers! I got an offer at Children's too and I am SO EXCITED. I will be on the 4 Main Unit! I am not a new grad though, been a nurse for about 2 years in July. For reference I have my BSN and my CPN (and with that Peds experience obviously) I am gonna be living in Silver Spring, MD- I found an absolutely INCREDIBLE apartment within my budget and I can't be more excited. I would love to talk to y'all more about this ?

HI! So I just applied at Duke and was wondering how competitive you could tell me it is? I applied for like 5 positions at the Children’s hospital. I have one year of inpatient pediatric experience, two bachelors degrees (one being my BSN), my PALS certification and like 9 years of working with children which will be good for peds! Any info would be great! ?

So for some reason I can’t PM you, and I know you don’t work at Duke but I applied for 5 different positions at Duke, all in the Children’s Hospital and I am wondering if you may know how competitive it is to get a job there? Hey friends! So I am looking for some advice. I am looking to apply to Children's National Medical Center within the next few months and was wondering how competitive it is/how to make myself more competitive/what chances I have at landing a job. I have my BSN, and also have another Bachelor's degree. I will have approximately 2 years of RN experience by the time I plan on applying, and about 1.75 years of that time in Pediatrics. I also have my PALS certification (and BLS too obviously) and I am DETERMINED to have my CPN(Certified Pediatric Nurse) by then as well (keeping the optimism, I will DEF HAVE IT BE THEN ? ) I also have worked as a preschool teacher before coming a nurse, so that is additional experience working with children and families. I am also interested in working at Inova Children's. Based on this, if anyone has worked there or currently works at both locations can you give me any advice on what you think of my qualifications and how good of a chance do you think I will have at getting a job. Hi! Sorry I am late to the party but I graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences which is now RUC. I was in the ASBN program and overall I think the experience was good. It could have been better yes. Lots of things were faulty. However I got my degree and my license so I have to remember that!
