  1. Hello, I just got accepted to AGACNP- Houston Fall 2022. I tried to locate the program curriculum but had no luck. I tried to email the coordinator but she hasn't replied me back. I need the curriculum or at least some hints to register for courses. Anybody was accepted this Fall 2022 or Spring 2022 here? I need some advice? Thanks
  2. I am a new nurse in MN ( 5 months) in TCU, I got paid $30/h when I work am shift +$3 covid pay. If I work pm or noc, I will have $1+$1.5 shift differential. My friends got hired at the hospital and they pay $34 without covid pay. I think it depends where you work. I am happy with any job I can have now since most of the hiring process are freezed in my state
  3. My 2nd partime job is always shorted staff. Sometimes, I come to work and they floated me as an aid. I am totally fine with that as long as they pay me as nurse salary. Folding laundry, 1 time is OK, but consitstently, a big NO. ?
  4. For me , within 48 hours. I test on 2/12. Got result at 6am 2/13
  5. Hello, I have a questions for anybody who are nurse manager. What is your communication issues that you have to deal with in your position? with your patients? your nurse? and other administrators/ managers?. I am about to apply for this position but so worried about it, since I am very new to this position. Thank you
  6. I've checked NHCC. It seems they close evening classes. Nursing course are mainly held from 8am-4:20pm
  7. I live in MN and had a free CNA training course at International Institute of Minnesota. The instructor was very good. We had skills asessment 2 days before the state test. What I remembered until know was the pre-step ( check my assigment sheet, wash my hands, get my supply, knock the door, introduce self, identify resident, pull curtance for privacy) and post-step ( pull out the curtain, give the call light, put the lining in right area, wash my hands, report and record). Every member in our class had to say out loud pre-step and post-step for each skills. She said people sometimes be failed because of that. Don't give up. You will pass next time :)
  8. I was waiting list at Metro at 11.87. However, I gave up my spot there and go to Century. You are moving up. Don't give up. Just a little wait
  9. It won't last too long. I have 2 friends refuse their slots at Century. Deadline to response is on April 1st, I think you will receive a letter 2-3 weeks later.
  10. Century' orientation is on July 24th. I'll meet you there :)
  11. I have 11.87. Don't worry. You are in. See you on July 24th :)
  12. Updated, I got accepted from IHCC, Century, and NHCC. Will choose Century, so anybody who applied for IHCC and NHCC will have a chance. See you guys on July 24th.
  13. Congrats. Where do you live? Still waiting mine.
  14. Have you received from Century yet? I think it will arrive on Monday. Wait until then and request the day off. I am considering btw IH and CC, too
  15. I got a letter from Inver Hills. I'm in. Still waiting for Century and NHCC
  16. I apply for 4 schools in MANE with all 11.87. Got accepted by Inver Hills, waiting list from Metrostate, still waiting for Century and NHCC
  17. My score is 11.87 for 4 schools .I got accepted to Inver Hills, waiting list at Metro state. Still waiting for Century and NHHC.
  18. The cut off score is the score you're definitely in. Waiting list doesn't count.
  19. Mine is 11.9 and still be worried since my advisor at Century College said the average cohort in Spring 2018 was 11.92, the cutting score was 11.46. I hope Fall 2018 does not elevate too much. I don't know about nhcc, arcc but they are kind of similar. For me, waiting is a pain. Pray for all of you
  20. Mine is 8 weeks from M-F 8:30am to 2:30pm. It's is free training course in MN, and I am about to start in late January. ( In order to prepare for my RN class start in Fall 2018).
  21. I will retake the TEAS on December and hoping my TEAS score was around 81-85 ( focus on Reading and Scientific reasoning). I hate the feeling of anxiety. Thanks Hodoab and 8130 :)
  22. Hi, I am about apply for Fall 2018. My 1st accumulate score is 11.87 which makes me very nervous to apply. Do your guys know the range for acceptance in Century and Metro State?
  23. Hi I am about apply for Fall 2018. My TEAS for 1st is 78.7%, GPA 4.0 which made my total score 11.87. I wonder if I have chance for Metro state or Century? ( coz Fall is more competitive) Do you think I need to redo the TEAS. I haven't finished my A&P classes yet ( that make my Science score 65% ( ).
