It's not a short, straight-forward reason, but if you are an incoming student, I'm sure that information would be shared with you if you asked a professor or upperclassman. The structure won't be changing and the incoming class won't be affected at all being that each of you won't be going through any "change" like we are. We were quite comfortable with our professors on a personal level, as well as academically. They have high expectations, but we knew what those expectations were. We knew their style of exams, etc. It will be an adjustment for us, but literally no adjustment for the incoming class since y'all won't know any differently. The new professors are all CRNAs with teaching experience (per accrediting requirements LOL). I read so much nonsense on allnurses before getting into anesthesia school. Take everything with a grain of salt on here. You will be just fine! Union is a great university and I'm thankful to be here.

Hi, I am a current SRNA at Union. There was no changes to accreditation, but there was a faculty turn over. All anesthesia professors are leaving at the end of August 2020 and new professors have been hired to take over.

Don’t buy any textbooks for your first semester! Students will email you a pdf copy of every textbook you’ll need. I like hard copies, but we didn’t use the textbooks often enough for that to matter. In the rare instance I needed one, I would use the pdf. Save your money! Congrats on your acceptance!

I didn't even ask. They did say they're interviewing "all week", so it seems they were implying it would be early next week? But I don't know.

I was in & out in about 45 mins. The earlier you get there, the more time you'll have with the current students, FYI. The interview is long enough for them to get an idea of who you are. Praying the best for all of us! Let the waiting game begin

My interview is at 910am tomorrow. I figure there will be time after for a tour or something? How long should we expect to be there? I am also flying home tomorrow and just want to make sure I make my flight in Memphis!

As prepared as I'm gonna be! I'm still confused as to what someone meant by if we get an interview, we get in. They have to be interviewing more than the class size, right?

Awesome! I just received an email yesterday morning that my application is complete, was sent to the admissions committee, and to allow 1-3 weeks for response.
