UCSF MEPN 2020 Waitlist
It does feel good to connect with other people in the same boat. One friend who was MEPN ~10 years ago said she knows numerous people who were accepted off of the waitlist over the years. This is the part where I’d hate to work in admissions - must be really tough to interact with all of the excitement of those who have gotten in, the anxiety of those of us who are waitlisted, and the disappointment/sadness of those rejected all at the same time. I’m PMHNP! I met a really awesome CNW candidate on my interview day!

@PreNurseC I’m PMHNP too! Did you get in? I’m curious how big the cohort is this year. I don’t know what my place is on the list or how it works. I just know admits have a couple weeks to decide and that they should have a clearer picture in a week or two.

I’m on too @roseglow18 @Corona! Hopefully you all don’t feel as anxious as me haha. I just know admits have two weeks to commit and they said they would have a clearer picture in a week or two. But I don’t know my spot or how the process works exactly. What specialties did you all apply to?

UCSF MEPN 2020
@nursingalldaywoot based on the tuition and fees from the registrar this is what I got: Year 1 (MEPN): $66,520 Year 2 (MS): $30,580 Year 3 (MS): $30,580 Total: $127,680 I don’t know if tuition is locked in when you are admitted or if you pay the yearly tuition increase. Which if that’s the case, I’d budget an extra $5-8k.

UCSF MEPN 2018
Hi Everyone - Could really use some info on pre-reqs. I'm having a hard time finding open sections and am wondering what your experiences with specific pre-reqs were in the Bay Area. CCSF requires Chem 32 before taking Physiology and Microbio. Yet Berkeley Extension just recommends a chemistry background. Has anyone taken courses at Berkeley Extension, and if so, do you believe a chemistry course prior was necessary? Thanks a million!
