Probation in another state

HI there,

I successfully completed probation in CA for 2 DUIs. Now applying for a license in PA. Wondering if anyone knows whether or not my license will go on probation in PA as well.

Any feedback welcome!!

PS if anyone needs info on probation... I'm your girl. CA BRN tried to **** with me and give me 2 more years based on a few 'technical errors' of theirs. I lawyered up, sent my lawyer an OVERWHELMING amount of evidence supporting my cause (almost 200 pieces of documentation) and I ended up winning my case. I won....against the CA BRN. Not easy.

The end result shaped me irrevocably....for the better. It has taken me a long time to overcome my shame and fear and realize that while I made mistakes, I am NOT my mistakes.

Hi, I left nursing and California after the board came after me but now I’m back in California to nurse again. My lawyer got me  “gross negligence”. I’m to start probation for 3 years.  I’m an RN and I have to complete a physical and mental exam by California board approved doctors before I can start nursing again. 91A3A8B6-D444-4CCC-8648-FCD8184A7196.thumb.jpeg.da50e915b5ae0acba1ba0d30433377a0.jpeg My question is who are these doctors? The board said they aren’t allowed to tell me and I’ve tried doing searches. I don’t care where they are in California I’ll drive there if I have to. I’m from the Bay Area. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

The BRN should be able to tell you their list of approved providers doing mental health assessments. That’s what your form looks like

if you have trouble getting a list from them, ask individuals in your local nurse support group. They (particularly the group leader) should know.

Support groups can be found on BRN probationer website

Dr. ----------------(spelling??) in Orange County is one, but you should have MDs in your area

Thank you so much. My probationer said he wasn’t allowed to give me anything. I will reach out to a support group and see what I can find out or I’ll call Dr --------- as a last resort. ?

Looks pretty boiler plate to me.  They may want this done by an addictionologist.  Congratulations on your future success.

Hi everyone . Anyone knows a physician who performs both the mental and physical exam for Ben probation in Southern California ? Please help

CA BRN sucks balls. Complete idiocracy that they tell you to get mental and physical exam but can't provide approved doctors.
