  1. I just want to say nursing probation was the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. But I'm out now. I worked at a sub acute facility for two years during the program and it was hell and low paying but I finally got out. Once I finished probation I probably put in 100 applications and 4 months after I have finally gotten an ICU job at a small community hospital. This is a slow rigorous process but it is doable. I plan on continuing up the ladder back into to higher paying hospitals but I know it's going to take time. But it can be done so don't give up.
  2. I don’t have to be in a support group either but I found one anyway and the leader is amazing and answers every question I have. I would recommend joining one anyway and they can help you so much. All the support groups are on the board of nursing website.
  3. Thank you so much. My probationer said he wasn’t allowed to give me anything. I will reach out to a support group and see what I can find out or I’ll call Dr --------- as a last resort. ?
  4. Hi, I left nursing and California after the board came after me but now I’m back in California to nurse again. My lawyer got me “gross negligence”. I’m to start probation for 3 years. I’m an RN and I have to complete a physical and mental exam by California board approved doctors before I can start nursing again. My question is who are these doctors? The board said they aren’t allowed to tell me and I’ve tried doing searches. I don’t care where they are in California I’ll drive there if I have to. I’m from the Bay Area. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
