5 pre reqs left

I have A&P 1,2, Micro, Gen Chem, And Coll Alg left to complete. I'm a part-time student and I know it looks like I have a lot left, but I feel like I've came a long ways. Now that I only have 5 classes left should I take my time with these, does anyone recommend I take any of these together, please help. Btw I'm a full time mommy, wife and employee???!!!

Would you recommend any of these classes on line?

No I would not recommend any of these classes online ... Maybe the college algebra &trig,, depending in how good you are in Math... Me I couldn't do that I'm more of an in your face type of student, i need to have direct contact to ask for explanations of anything I don't understand. I took lifespan development online, but there are no concepts with that class just reading and exams and a few papers.

Check with your school, some schools require chemistry be taken prior to taking A&P I. My school requires chem as a pre-req for A&P I (A&P I is a pre-req for A&P II, A&P I and II are pre-req for Micro). And a pre-req for chem is College Level Algebra. So for me I had to take the classes in a particular order.

If you can take any of the classes you listed at any time, if it were me I take the sciences one at a time.

I bit the bullet and took 6 courses this semester just to be done with my pre-reqs. Let me preface this by saying that I don't work (got laid off in May), nor are my kids young (my son is a teenager and my step-daughter is grown and on her own now). Even having all this free time on my hands, I was SWAMPED with school work! Going to school WAS my full-time job. I made it through with a 4.0, but I was a ball of stress the last 4 weeks of school. I will never take that many credits at one time ever again!

^^ This will be me in a few weeks, lol. I'm taking 7 classes (well, 6 plus a bio lab worth 1 credit) to finish up the last of my pre-reqs. I'm taking College Algebra, English Comp 2, Biomedical Ethics, Psychology of Development, A&P I, General Biology for Science majors, and General Biology Lab. I finally apply for my RN program in just a few weeks. I'll just have A&P 2 and Micro to take over the summer (but they are co-reqs and can be taken while in the program). My goal is to have no co-reqs left once in the program, nursing classes are hard enough by themselves!

Definitely take it slow though, don't rush it. I'm only taking a heavy load because I have taken A&P and Micro about a year ago and got A's (but the school I transferred to this past fall didn't accept the credits and I have to re-take them) so I have a little bit of a leg up going into those sciences. I also do not work and have no children, so I have all the time in the world to devote to studying. If I didn't, I would definitely not be taking this many classes! Slow and steady wins the race. :)

I recommend doing it in 4 semesters, including a summer session. So for example: Spring '13: college algebra with a & p, Summer '13: chem, Fall '13: a & p 2, Spring '14: microbio. Good luck! Also, I took chemistry online & just went in for labs. I thought it was very easy which is saying something because I don't like math.

Thanks everyone, you guys are a wealth of information. I'm going to try the slow and steady pace bcuz I really want to at the end have a competitive GPA and also be able to retain the info.

That's ok Brenay were almost there with these five classes left it's going to take me until 2014 to finish, but I'm excited because I'm going to take one at a time to ensure my GPA does not drop. Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com
Well I am taking all these classes next semester. I hope to be done in May of 2013. Please pray for me! As I will pray for you!
