Potential lawsuit

I am looking to get married this next year and wondering how to protect my future husbands assests? I took out liability insurance recently. I have no assets since being a new nurse just student loans. However he owns a house and has more money saved. If an event occurred before my insurance and marriage which leads to a lawsuit can they obtain his assets then?

How many RN do you know that got sued for doing the right thing ? You are tormenting yourself. Do the right thing and you should be fine. Plus your insurance will kick in way before marriage.
