PLEASE HELP! Wayne state Nursing or University of Detroit Mercy?!

I voted for Wayne State. My soon to be sister in law goes there and she loves it. Congratulations on making it into not one but two programs!

I say Wayne State! Everyone that I know (I work for DMC-so Social Worker, Occupational Therapists, RNs, SLP, Pharm.D., etc...) loves Wayne. U of D is private, so expect to pay or get a lot of scholarships.

I went to Wayne State. The hospitals that I did my clinicals at all said they really liked the Wayne State students. I was a really hard program, but very rewarding. You will learn a lot!

Thanks guys I really appreciate all the feedback! I recently decided that WSU it is! Ive heard only great this about the program, and can't wait to start in the fall!! Anyone have any recommendations on teachers?? That would be a great help! Also, if theres anything you guys didn't know going in but found out later (info that could have been beneficial to have known), PLEASE let me know!! I am a transfer student and know nothing about wayne or what it entails. One more thing... does anyone suggest doing the honors program while in nursing school??

Btw have you received a letter yet regarding orientation? Im sorry for the many questions, but I was looking over my acceptance letter and it mentioned to expect a letter regarding orientation within one week and I haven't received one yet. So I was wondering if you had received one , that way if not I know it's just me and I need to call them up! Hope to hear from you soon!

Its okay! Don't apologize, Im happy that I can help someone for once and not be the one asking for help lol. And No I haven't received anything yet! I spoke to them last week, and they said that they will be mailing out the orientation information letters this monday, July 1st! Lol no worries, I thought I was the only one too! But realized it was everyone

Thank you(: My GPA for both schools were a 3.84 and a 3.87 in sciences. Best of luck to you!
