I quit school in 1996 and now I go back for school ..do you think it will be ok ??. I don't know anything about Chem, Bio or Anatomy at all but I am so good on Math. or Physic

I have no job now. I have too much free time and I want to be ready....So can some one please tell me what book I should read or what can I do now before I step in school.

Please help. Thank you all.

Step in Future, I am in the same situation as you only I begin my LPN program May 2010. I have several questions and concerns about starting too. I think that if you are good in Math and Physics, then you will be okay. I hear from a lot of people that the program is very stressful because of the amount of information that you have to learn in such a short time frame. I am definetly not the brainiest person in the world and I have always had to study harder than others for me to remember things, but I am not letting that stop me. If you stay focused, try and stay a step ahead of everyone, ask questions, figure out your best study method, and also take time out for yourself then you can make it through. Making flashcards is going to be my best way to memorize and learn the information. stay positive, maybe make at least one or two friends in the class, so that you guys can help each other study and stay motivated. GoOd LuCk!!;)

I would start with a course to improve your English skills. Look at the local community colleges to take courses in ESL, whether or not you intend to do any further courses at these schools. For a reasonable tuition you can go far to get your English to a par where you will be more successful in school. Good luck.
