Hi y'all I'm a LVN graduate,
I took my NCLEX test in NOVEMBER,
Didn't find out i pass until DECEMBER,
and sent my fee & info to the Boards on
JANUARY 22, And still waiting to receive it and i cant wait, because i need to work.
I always wanted to become an RN since High School, but Im so excited that I am an LVN.
I have two important Questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One:
IF U BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL SIX MONTHS TO A YEAR AND JUST NOW PASSING, IS IT TOO LATE TO GET OUT THERE AND BECOME A REALLY GOOD SKILLED NURSE? {fear of the unknown}
Two:
Is there any super NURSE or NURSES out there that can give some info. on WESTCOAST UNIVERSITY ?the LVN to RN
I want to know whats on the entrance test or if it's hard to get in?
Thanks, this is my first post !!!!!!!!
This is the best nursing Website i been on so far i learned alot!

I have known a few nurses that waited a while before they took the boards, and they are good nurses. I can't answer your other question. Good luck.

You're dealing with the California BVNPT, which continues to process the LVN licensure and paperwork all by way of manual labor and snail mail. In other words, you'll need to continue to wait, unless you want to drive to Sacramento to obtain a temporary permit until your hard copy license arrives in the mail.
