So how I can make my resume stands out? Any specific training or certification that could boost my resume?! Just got accepted into Nursing school and got my CPR card last month. Am so excited and really want to focus now on my study and how to build good resume that stands out from the pile... I need your advice :)

You should try to get a job as a tech in a hospital or volunteer in the facility where you think you'll want to work. This is a great addition to your resume and a great way to create connections that will benefit you when you graduate.
Very helpful, thanks! Congratulations on your Graduation

Working in the medical field (tech etc.) will boost your resume. The more certifications and organizations you join, the better! Your state will have a student nurse organization. If your grades are good, you will be invited to join Sigma Theta Tau, a nursing honors society. Remember to add any presentations that you do in nursing school and volunteer work (even if it was madatory). Good Luck!

your school will have an office for advising/career opportunities, and they will most assuredly be able to help you with writing and presenting a good resume. make their acquaintance early in your school career and drop in from time to time as you acquire new skills, certifications, volunteer jobs well done, honors, etc. ... they will also have a good handle on what you should look at to get more line items on your resume, and of what kind, and maybe even have leads for work while you're still in school as well as when you become an alumna (i am assuming you are female).

Working as a Tech in any healthcare setting can boost your resume, along with perhaps getting a certification as a CNA as well. Any volunteer work dealing with a hospital setting always looks intriguing to employers as well!
