Physiology Vent

Just a vent...I am currently in Advanced Physio this semester. We just got our scores on our 2nd lecture test and I had the highest in my class. You would think this is good news, but unfortunatly, I scored 61 out of 100 pts! :uhoh21: We started out class with 36 people, and on Sat, we only had 20 left. One of my friends left after lab and told me she was dropping the class, my other friend had a drop slip signed during lecture break. The instructor said they are discussing adding review sessions for us on Friday nights. Something has to be wrong when NO ONE is passing. Fortunatly we are on spring break this week. Needless to say, I am spending my break in the books. I am NOT dropping this class. I have all A's and B's in my other classes, and I am going to fight to see if I can pull this up to a B. Anyone else having similar probs??

I'm currently taking an online physiology lecture and lab class. It is rough. Very intense, and a lot of information. There are a lot of sacrifices you must make to be a nurse, but I believe they will pay off in the long run.

Hi Lori! I saw the topic on this and read, then realized it was you. (Kelly here) So you decided to drop, huh? I know it's a tough choice to make, but a W is better than a D any day! Not to mention how your gpa would drop if you got a D. I figured whether I stayed or dropped, either way I would have to re-take the class. I didn't know Burgess switched your schedule around on you. That's a load of c r a p. :angryfire He didn't even ask if anyone objected?? I don't know if you've been to the review sessions, but I went to all of them and was still getting a D in there. Is all he did was tell us the answers to the questions at the end of the outline, then he was outta there. He's nice as a person, but no good as a teacher. I'm taking physio next time with Tarricone during the day, even if I have to pay daycare to go to class, anything! I hope you can work it out so that you can get her, too. I don't know if you noticed, but her class grades are all about 20 points higher than ours were. Hmmmm....... I'm p.o.'d about losing all that $, but hopefully it will help me get a better grade next time around. I would definitely complain about the schedule switch. I don't know if it will get you anywhere, but you never know until you try. Talk to you later. p.s. At least you don't have to worry about a bleeding ulcer studying for the next (hardest) test. :uhoh3:

Hey Kelly....yeah I am a casualty, LOL. He really put me in a spot, I had no choice. I had made up my mind to work through it and then he pulled this stunt. In any case, next time I sign up, I am going to make sure it is Tarracone's class, so we may make it to a class together soon!!
