Hey guys anybody here in CA (NoCal /SoCal) who got their BSN in the Philippines and trying their luck to get BON eligibility for NCLEX-RN? I had all my documents forwarded to CA BON and paid the fees and cant help being so anxious waiting for the results of the evaluation especially with the concurrency issues. Im taking my time to study but gets so distracted when I think about the concurrency issues. Keeping a positive attitude here though...

From what I understand California is strictly enforcing the concurrency rules. If your theory and clinical classes weren't taken at the same time, you risk not getting approved to take the NCLEX. There are numerous post here by a poster named steppybay. She is very informative and is up to date on the latest information.
Thank you 13grd71. I checked my transcripts of records and it showed that both theory and clinicals were taken and done in the same semester. I just hope the education equivalent is the same.
If that is the case you ought to be good then. However due to the fraud cases encountered by the CABON in particular, fraudulent transcripts from the Philippines, they are likely going to scrutinize your transcripts with a microscope. So be prepare to submit documentary evidence to support your transcripts. Anticipate and submit what they want in a timely manner and you are good to go for the NCLEX.
Since it looks like you are a ok i would suggest you start studying for the hell called NCLEX.
@ 13grad71 Im keeping a positive attitude that my documents will be all good enough for the BON. For now im startinf to read already in my Saunders book but i think my motivation is still very poor since im still worried of the outcome of my BON evaluation. I know the nclex-rn exam is tough and i want to be ready when the time i need to face it. Do you have any review materials for nclex that you can share me with? I can give you my email though. thank you and god bless

Hi RovzIniego, I'm also new here. I'm living in NoCal, i have the same issues. Well, back in 2009 i think when I was still in the Philippines I applied for NCLEX RN here in CA and luckily I was able to take in 2012 the exam but failed (well, i really didn't study because I had work and that time I wasn't interested in passing because i didn't know that I will be coming here this year. I should have studied if I knew. So right now Im kind of lost whether they'll consider my retake application because of the concurrency issues..You are a graduate of which year BTW?
I'm in the Bay Area til Wednesday. I'll send u something when I get back home next week.
