I just wanted to know if anyone applied to houston community college adn program. i did apply but i am suppose to call them back in may to register for the next pharmarcology class. i cannot wait to start nursing school this fall, but i have been thinking of the pharmarcology, because i heard that it is hard. i really do not want to believe that it is hard, but each time i think of me still waiting i panic. pls if someone could hint me on this course i will really appreciate it. thanks:uhoh21:

My friend took it there (but then had to retake at TWU because they don't accept HCC's) and she said it was a killer. But hey, she really knows her drugs now!

I purchased Pharmacology Made Incredibley Easy and have been browsing through it. I figured that if I started learning a few things now, it would ease my trepidation in the fall.

UTMB will not take a CC pharmacology course either. Don't know about UT.

Have fun in Pharm.. it isn't easy but it is important. Get flashcards.. that helped me. Also, pharmacology is one of those classes that you have to remember for the rest of nursing school and beyond. Remember this when you study and it will help you when you have to take the NCLEX and HESI. Good luck.

Did she transfer before she got a degree or will it transfer if I apply to an RN-BSN program?
