I honesty can’t say. The program I’m in I’ve heard is very strict and doesn’t give second chances or consider mistakes being made in the lab. They just refer back to inpatient which is insane. Hopefully you will be okay since it was only one night. If you had a long period (1mith+) of abstinence before that hopefully you’ll be good. Our situations are very similar. I should get my results back any day

Hi all..the pharmacist that failed her peth here.. I swear I feel like this is a total total racket. I was told to cease practice until I saw a professional that cost $4000 to give me an OK to go back to work or go inpatient! All because of a positive peth ..a very low one..

Just wonder the say I feel everybody's pain and I am here. We are all in this together.

Marybeth ..from expierence you are fine.... I know it's easy from be the say but believe me I've been in this program for 3 years already it has me a wreck and I know the hoops I've had a go through. Thanks Stephanie.. I hope they clear you to go back to work and don’t use you for more money. Do ou remember how many days it took to get your test back and what your level was?

I heard in like 4 days...and the peth was like 23..sooo darn low....I need to get back to work...the hoops and money they want are insane.. And I put myself in it for anxiety and nerves. Not realizing I could not drink. I also had breast cancer and take Hydrocodone and there on me for that as well.

Ugh I can’t take th anxiety anymore it’s been 7 days

I can’t check my results here in South Carolina which means I have to wait for my case manager to let me know. This is so awful because my 90 days is up and they are ready to let me go back to work but now I have to wait for the results of the Peth and then they’ll decide. Has anyone ever had to retake the test due to insufficient sample?

Your case manager would have notified you by now if you did not pass....can you call her

I read it takes 5-10 days ?

Mine still says received at lab and no results and I did it on the 22nd I’m going insane... have you heard anything

Not yet. I can’t even check on mine here. My program doesn’t allow us to see so I have to wait for my case manager to call me. I wish us both good luck. What I’ve been reading says it only detects binge Drinking but some say it can detect one drink. This is nuts.
