You will receive your ATT from pearsonvue one they get the go ahead from BON. Make sure you check your junk box as email has been known to go there. If you are in the US with a valid work visa or a USC and have a IP then you can work (if you can get a job) until you sit NCLEX usually have a 6 month period. Once you have sat NCLEX then IP is done with and if you fail then can't work as a nurse

Eligibility is what is granted once you have met the requirements for licensure in the specific state that you have applied to. All has been accepted and you just need to write the exam.

ATT is what is granted once you have the eligibility from the state as well as Pearson-Vue receiving the payment as well as approval to release the ATT from the state.

Think of Pearson-Vue as being an agent for all of the states here; they cannot release anything, even if they have received payment, until the state okays it.

Hope that this helps clear up things.

In order to get the IP, it means that you have eligibility to write the exam; one needs to have met everything in order to get that. Again, it can only be used before one has written the exam and ceases to exist once the exam is written and the results come out.

Best of luck to you on your exam.
