iPod Touch!

No particular brand, but be sure to look for one with the features you want, and with the most memory and battery life that you (or gift giver) can afford.

We are thinking about starting to require them for our students.

Palm Centro. Not too expensive and you get all-in-1.

Palm TX with a memory card ! A great tool I use every day!

Palm TX here, too. Also w/memory card. It has wi-fi, and I also use mine every day.

I had a Palm Tungsten... went through two of them.. not because they were crappy... but because I used them so much... I combined things and went to a Palm Centro and I love it..Phone and PDA all in one. :yeah: I have Epocrates Deluxe and a number of other references on there. I got a 2 gig expansion card for it and I haven't been happier. my only complaint is that when my phone book and my PDA address books merged, they mixed a lot up and I had to go in and put things where they belonged..

Awesome thank you guys so much!

Its so funny bc last year you would ask me what I wanted for Christmas I would say clothes etc......Now it is nursing books, nursing shoes, nursing everything. LOL

lol... it only gets worse.. Wait until you get your eyes on that one stethescope that you HAVE to have... lol don't ever lose your idealism, sense of humor, passion or compassion. Those are a few of the things that make you a phenomenal nurse. and just remember.. no matter HOW bad the day may be.. It's just a job, and you get to go home.

I have an ipod touch with epocrates and a few medical calculators. It's awesome.
