GI bill, my states waives tuition for vets @ state schools, and a few merit scholarships

I could have had all my school expenses paid for at my school - tuition, textbooks, etc. - paid for with the Pell grants I've gotten every year, but I've also taken out federal loans to help pay living expenses since I haven't been working through nursing school. I just didn't have enough time. I feel bad that I will be graduating in debt, but hopefully I will be able to starting paying the loans down once I get a job.

Debt (especially student loan debt) scares me, so when I go on to get my BSN, I'm going to try to pay out of pocket for it as much as possible.
