Passed NCLEX!

Published

I promised myself and God I would share my testimony after I passed NCLEX so here it is...

I graduated June 2014, almost a year late. I took boards the first time in October, I didn't study because I thoight either you have it or you don't. Guess what? I didn't have it the test cut off at 83. Second time I took hurst review and I felt more confident, but I still didn't pass with 265 questions. I was broken and I honestly wanted to give up. I was embarrassed, I lost my job offer, and I was just sad. Not as if I wasn't beating myself up enough, I had to deal with others say "maybe you should do something else." I'm thankful for those statements now because it gave me just the motivation to push forward.

Third time- Most importantly I prayed for understanding and knowledge of what I was I was studying. Also for strength! I purchased the lippincotts Q&A review and started doing a section out it every night. I then purchased NCSBN 3wk review. It was awesome. I reviewed the content and then did the questions along with the lippincotts every day! I made notes and made sure I read the rationales. I finally began to get a clear understanding. So I took NCLEX for the 3rd time on March 19 it cut off at 75. For me it was easy this go round. I found out the next morning I passed when I saw I had an active license!!

Please dont give up no matter what and always keep God first and everything will fall into place!

Congratulations

So happy for! Taking mine in the morning for the first time and I love reading how people passed!

Sending Prayers and positive vibes your way! Good Luck!

Congrats! I take my 2nd attempt on Wednesday. My first time around I used Hurst and very little of Kaplan and ended at 265. I focused on a lot of material and whatever questions Hurst gives you. I'm really anxious about retaking!! Though no one is ever "ready" to take NCLEX. Congrats, again!

Thank you! Good Luck! I did the same thing for my second time burst and their questions. Third time I focused more so on questions and how to answer them!

Congratulations on a job well done. Now you can change your name.

Congratulations! Good luck to the others that's testing

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How did You see NCSBN?? Are their questions similar to NCLEX? I Will be taking the exam for the second time in 4 weeks and my nerves are killing me!!

Reading this gave me shivers! I really appreciate you sharing this, because there are people out there who needed to read this and I'm so happy that I came across this. Yes, keeping God first and believing you can overcome. Congratulations Jessica! I wish you all the best.

Yes, I found the questions very similar. When I say down I was like this is almost too easy. I definitely think it made a huge difference. My nerves were bad too, but pray for peace and to remove the anxiety. Good Luck!

Thank you so much! I promised I would share my story, I've struggled this so much and I just want to let someone know it may not be easy but never give up! Through Christ all things are possible.
